Our web-based video capture technology allows respondents to upload video using a webcam to gather candid, in-depth feedback during surveys or product tests and provides an easy-to-use platform for video diaries.

Bellomy’s proprietary technographic and multi-tiered technical screening process ensures respondents computers, microphones and webcams are configured correctly for webcam video capture. Our web-based software does not require the respondent to download any software – they simply press the “Record” button and speak into their webcam. Respondents are able to see themselves while they are recording and instantly review their video. They can re-record until they are happy with their video.

Video capture is particularly useful when asking for immediate response on stimuli or a product review that requires more in-depth feedback that would otherwise required a lot of typing. This technology also allows you to see facial expressions and vocal intonation, which is not possible to read from text verbatims.

This technology can also be implemented within our panel and Community platforms to provide respondents an easy way to share their feedback on product trial, apparel fit feedback or capture video diary entries over time.

A dedicated, secure Portal allows the client access to all videos without the need to download large video files because they are hosted on our servers and play from the web-based platform.
